- Note: If any dog displays problematic behavior in the class, we will set up a meeting together to discuss options going forward and as to whether a group environment is conducive to success for your pup! If we decide it is not at this point, there are many other options, and we will certainly be able to figure something out for your dog.
- The purpose of Adult Dog Basics is to form a training relationship between you and your dog. We do this by first learning about your dog's body language, which is the basis of communication and understanding for you and your dog. Next, we will start doing basic tasks that will help to form a bond between each of you and set expectations for the behaviors you want to see. Then we will move on to more complex skills like loose leash and heel walking. This course provides your dog with basic skills but also expands upon them, offering a unique experience for you and your furry friend! This course is good for dogs who have had previous training or no training at all! As long as you and your dog are prepared to learn- that is all we need. I hope you choose to join us at Adult Dog Basics!
